Best trails near Der Strenger Hammer

This route follows stage 1 of the Bergischer Panoramasteig and connects Engelskirchen with Lindlar. From the Agger bridge in Engelskirchen, the trail climbs through forests toward Feckelsberg before descending into the Leppe Valley at Blumenau. Hikers ascend steep meadow paths to Rommersberg and pass the :metabolon innovation site. This circular walk starts at the Engel-Museeum, which is not far from Engelskirchen railway station. The route first leads along the Leppe to the Oelchenshammer. It then continues through Feckelberg and past Mühlenberg. Particularly beautiful views can be enjoyed from the Schönes Ründeroth viewpoint before the trail leads along the Agger back to the viewpoint.
