The Raute 4 district hiking trail starts at the weather hut next to the Hermann Stenner Art Forum and leads through the eastern Teutoburg Forest to the "Peter auf dem Berge" restaurant. You pass the Johannisberg and the Heimattierpark and have beautiful views of the landscape in between. The hiking sign is a white 4 in a white diamond.
