Best trails near Alzenberg

Varied Eifel circular route near Simmerath, North Rhine-Westphalia. The wooded hike starts at the Kallbrück car park, very close to the dam. The steep ascent to the Ochsenkopf rewards with marvellous views. At the Ochsenkopf, the Dürener Straße is crossed and the hike continues along the Mittelweg on the other side.
