Circular route; start/finish: car park on the Burgberg near the Schoenstatt chapel (signposted, worth seeing). Somewhat steep ascent at the start of the tour. Otherwise very easy to walk. A little more difficult in two places: at the end of the Güntherweg you have to make your way through windthrow (but it is not particularly difficult) and the crossing over the Kalte Beuster. Idyllic nature hike in Lower Saxony. Anyone who loves nature and the forest in particular will get their money's worth on this magnificent hiking trail. From the starting point, the Philophenweg leads into the marvellous greenery. The route is slightly uphill. Along the way, you will come across small springs and their streams, lonely huts and wild plants. It is not unusual to spot a wild animal from a distance. The last section then leads across the fields back to the starting point....
