- 4.0 (1)·Hard·19.6 kmChallenging mountain hike from Ursprungstal. This route is a "black mountain trail" (difficult) and requires alpine experience. The final ascent to the summit is not a hike; it is a short, exposed scramble (grade I), secured with steel ropes. Absolute surefootedness and a head for heights are essential for this final section. The route up to the summit is a strenuous but beautiful mountain path that leads past the Fellalm and offers fantastic panoramic views from the summit.
- Hard·17.2 km·Est. 8–9 hrThis easy but quite long stage leads from the well-trodden paths of the Wendelsteinberge into the heart of the Schliersee mountains. Initially leisurely over the alpine pastures of the Himmelmoosalm, then the ascent to the Traithen follows. Then it goes down into the Ursprungtal and on the other side uphill again to the Rotwandhaus.
