Best trails near Großer Brünnberg

Another leisurely stage, especially if you take the chairlift from Oberaudorf to Hocheck. Most of the time you walk leisurely through shady forest. Only the last 500 meters in altitude are tough. Here the path becomes steep and partly rocky until you reach the Brünnsteinhaus. The course of the Brünnsteinlauf 2010 is one of the most difficult in the area due to the incline over the last few kilometres. Nevertheless, it is runnable throughout for trained runners. The first three kilometres are paved and lead along the clear Gfaller reservoir. This is followed by a forest road with short breaks in the tarmac.
