From the Erlöserkirche church in Gmund (760m) head SSE on the Bodensee-Königssee cycle path via Gasse (760m) to Oberbuchberg (820m). There, at the signpost "Neureuth" turn left, soon heading east, partly quite steeply uphill. At the signpost "Neureuth" at 1129m take the left fork. At the Gindelalmweg (1240m) the drudgery is over for today. Now continue in an easterly direction slightly up and down, finally steeply up to the Gindelalmschneid (1335m).
