Best trails near Historische Fraunhofer-Glashütte

Stage 5 of the Lake Constance-Königssee cycle route at the foot of the Alps. Stage 5 starts not far from the picturesque Kochelsee and leads past the Benediktbeuren monastery between the Loisach and Isar rivers to the climatic health resort of Bad Heilbrunn, which was already discovered by the Celts. From the maypole in Benediktbeuern (630 m) to the monastery and continue westwards through the moss to Loisach. There turn right heading NE along the very nice singletrail to Schönmühl (600m). There in an easterly direction up to the road and next to it on the cycle path for 1km in a southerly direction. In the left-hand opening the forestry and the partly somewhat overgrown single trail along the Steinbach in a southerly direction, over the B11, to Hofstätt / Bichl.
