Best trails near Burg Waldeck

This route starts at the car park near the ruins of Waldeck. It leads along the Totenweg trail through the forest. The path leads to the Dickener Schlößle, a historic tower. There is not much left of it, but there are still some small ruins. The path then leads further into the forest. It then turns round and leads back to the starting point.

This route starts at the Schleiftalstraße and follows the Schleiftalweg for the first part of the hike. The path runs parallel to the Nagold until after the Waldeck ruins, where the path makes a sharp turn to start the return journey. The path remains entirely in woodland, so you can count on shade.
