The Krebsbach stream, which is used to supply Nordhausen with drinking water, is dammed here. This tour is ideal for a pleasant hike on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It is not only the oldest drinking water reservoir in Thuringia, but also one of the most beautiful in Thuringia and the Harz Mountains.
