The Red Cliff nature reserve is a stretch of coastline on Sylt, located between the villages of Wenningstedt and Kampen. The Red Cliff is a 30 metre high cliff that lies on the beach on the west side of the island. It is considered an impressive landmark on Sylt and was once used by sailors as a landmark due to its unique red colour.
