Best bird watching trails in Westensee Nature Park

This lovely circular walk takes you round the Großer and Kleiner Schierensee, offering magnificent views across the Westensee. In this area, characterised by idyllic bodies of water and situated just a few kilometres south of the Kiel Canal, it’s a wonderful place to go for a walk, a run or simply to enjoy the views over the Westensee, as well as the Großer Schierensee and the Kleiner Schierensee.
