Best bike touring trails in Düben Heath Nature Park

Leisurely cycle tour to the city of iron (Ferropolis) This cycle tour starts in Dessau-Roßlau and leads to Lake Gremmin. The Ferropolis (City of Iron) is located here on the striking peninsula, where 5 large pieces of equipment have been exhibited as works of art to be explored instead of scrapped.

This trail starts at Hartensfels Castle in Torgau. It leads through small towns and the Pressel heath forest and moorland area. Sights include the monument to the Battle of Torgau on the Süptitz Heights and the Gustav Kögel monument in Pressel. The trail ends at the tower of Düben Castle.

7th section of the official long-distance cycle route through Germany from the Baltic Sea to Upper Bavaria (D-Route 11) The D-Route D11 (Baltic Sea to Upper Bavaria) runs along the entire route from Rostock to Freilassing in Bavaria. The route generally runs along tarmac roads with little traffic.
