Best bird watching trails in Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park

Picturesque hike along the Rhine near Erpel, Rhineland-Palatinate. This beautiful circular route leads via Unkel, Scheuren, Bruchhausen and to Erpeler Ley. The route starts and ends in Erpel. The railway station is also nearby, so you can easily get there by bus or train. Refreshment stops are available. The Erpeler Ley is the most famous point on this loop due to its magnificent location, but there are also numerous other distant views of the Rhine Valley and the Siebengebirge mountains.
