Best easy trails in Sternberger Seenland Nature Park

Idyllic circular route near Sternberg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This is a short but beautiful route through the Warnow breakthrough valley. The route starts at Kaarz Castle. From there, the route heads west across the Warnow to Alt Necheln. The rest of the hike leads through forests and fields, with the Warnow often in view. In the centre of the circular route is the Birkenmoor. Before returning, you cross the Warnow one last time. A lovely little exploration in the Sternberger Seenland.

This hike starts at Blankenberg railway station. From there, it heads north and stays close to the Radebach stream for most of the route. The hike is heavily wooded and lies entirely within the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park. This is a great route for a relatively short and easy, yet enjoyable time.

This hike in Sternberg starts right at the outer edge of the Judenberg. It then crosses the road and leads along the Am Karpfenteich path to a short loop surrounded by the three lakes. It then follows the same route back to the Judenberg, where you return to the starting point.
