The Hochuferwanderweg hiking trail is a must when visiting Rügen. There are always wonderful views of the coast. After a detour to the Black Lake, the trail continues into the beech forest and on to the beautiful Granitz hunting lodge, from whose observation tower you can see the whole island on a clear day.

Starting from Binz, this path first leads out onto the famous pier and then along the coast. At 370 metres, the Binz pier is the second longest pier on the holiday island of Rügen. The hike is short, but offers beautiful views of the Baltic Sea from the beach and the village of Silvitz.

The hike is a very special experience along the Bodden coast over the Zicker mountains from Groß Zicker to Gager. It goes through the Mönchgut nature reserve, so dogs are not allowed to leave the paths (officially they must be kept on a lead).

Popular walking or cycling route in the South-East Rügen Biosphere Reserve, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The Reddevitz peninsula, nestled between Having and Hagenschen Wiek, is very popular with walkers and cyclists alike. The route across the peninsula, which is only up to 500 metres wide, leads to the Reddevitzer Höft viewpoint, where land and sea meet at a steep cliff more than 30 metres high. This route starts in Putbus and leads along the Neuendorferweg to Neuendorf and the Rügischer Bodden. There is a beach there that invites you to swim on warm days.
