The Plesseturm also offers a marvellous view over the Werra Valley as far as the Meissner and Hedrastein. As there are some ups and downs, you should bring a bit of stamina with you. Family-friendly circular hiking trail in the Frau-Holle-Land Geo-Nature Park, Hesse A cosy loop for the whole family. The route partly follows the certified Plesse P5 premium hiking trail, which starts from the same car park. Accessible by bus and train (bus stop Wanfried-Mühlhäuser-Str. or Spinnhütte). The trail starts at the railway station in Helsa and leads southwards along the Hergesbach stream. On the way back, don't miss the Helsa cascades.
