In the Haßberge Nature Park there is a trail of nature to discover. The gentle low mountain range combines unforgettable landscapes with lively nature, culture and history on around 86,000 hectares.The nature park is located in the northernmost part of the Franconian Keuperland in Bavaria and lies in the triangle between Hassfurt, Bamberg and Bad Königshofen. There is something for everyone to experience here: there are adventure trails for children, youth campsites, playgrounds and many castles and palaces. There are many opportunities for half-day and full-day tours as well as long-distance hiking trails.

Dam circular route in Kemmern There is a car park south of the town where this circular trail begins. From here, the trail follows the flood defence dam around Kemmern. As there are hardly any differences in altitude on the route, it is ideal for a leisurely walk. Only a short section near the motorway is a little noisier.
