Best partially-paved trails in Ilmenau

Water-rich hike near Langewiesen, Thuringia. This hike begins in Langewiesen at the Liebfrauenkirche church. From here, the trail first heads south-east to the Heideteich pond, continuing via the Seerosenteich pond to the Großer Badeteich pond. This near-natural hike is particularly suitable for exploring the flora and fauna of these water-rich ecosystems. The route is accessible by bus and train (starting and finishing point is the Rathaus bus stop in Langenwiesen).

Finally, follow the Ilm Cycle Path back to Ilmenau.
