Panoramic hike with many places to linger This relaxed hike takes you past the Karl-Friedrich-Stein and up the Gläser, from where you have a marvellous view of the surrounding landscape of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. There are refreshment stops in Dermbach and at the Dermbacher Hütte. The hike can be reached by bus and train (bus stop: Markt).

Family-friendly circular Route to the Dermbach Cliffs, Thuringia. The impressive shell limestone formations are reminiscent of Saxon Switzerland and were formed more than 200 million years ago. The short circular route begins on the outskirts of Dermbach and leads along the edge of the forest up to the cliffs past the Fatima Chapel.
