Official route of the RTF organised by Radsportverein Trave Bad Oldesloe e.V. The Giro Stormarn Marathon is one of the ultimate endurance tests for racing cyclists in northern Germany. The route leads through the open, gently undulating plains and picturesque lake landscapes of Schleswig-Holstein. The main difficulty on this flatland route is keeping up the pace for hours on end and battling the relentless headwinds and crosswinds that are typical of the northern German landscape.
