Best camping trails in Römerberg

On well-maintained cycle paths from Römerberg to Germersheim, past Leimersheim to Jockgrimm (with beautiful half-timbered houses and the Lina Sommer Platz). Continue to Rheinzabern and Rülzheim (past the beautifully situated Dieterskirchel), through the fields to Bellheim and Westheim, via Lingenfeld back to Römerberg.

On paved cycle paths, field and forest tracks from Römerberg to Speyer, Alt- and Neulußheim, Waghäusel, Phillipsburg, Huttenheim, Rheinsheim, Germersheim and back via Lingenfeld.

The section from Mannheim to Weinheim is mostly firm, but partly sandy and unsurfaced, so not suitable for racing bikes. Up to Weinheim and from Neckarsteinach, the route runs mainly on cycle paths, some of which are marked.

From Römerberg to Haßloch, from Forst along the German Wine Route to Bad Dürkheim, Leistadt, Weisenheim am Berg, Klein- and Großkarlbach, Gerosheim, Beindersheim, Frankenthal, Ruchheim, Mutterstadt, Schifferstadt and back via Dudenhofen. The route runs mainly on cycle paths alongside the road, partly on farm tracks through the fields, and is also suitable for racing bikes.
