The route is predominantly asphalted and non-technical and leads from the Rhine Valley near Wesseling through the hilly landscape of the Kottenforst-Ville Nature Park to Billig.

The Wesseling Rhine ferry only runs for a limited time, so be sure to check the timetable before the tour. Alternatively, you can use the Rhine ferry between Porz Groov and Köln Weiss or the Rodenkirchen motorway bridge.
