Best bird watching trails in Warstein

In the Lörmecke valley nature reserve, you will find a nature trail that combines special geological features with historical forms of use. On the circular trail along the course of the Lörmecke stream, you can marvel at the "Hohler Stein" cultural cave, stately copper beeches and centuries-old hillside terraces used for agriculture all year round.

From the Eichenkamp hiking car park, you follow old trade routes up to the Großer Storchenschnabel, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Sauerland. The circular route also leads past the Grubenteich pond, which is used by the Kallenhardt volunteer fire brigade as a fire-fighting pond.
