Best dogs on lead trails in Voerde

Beautiful circular hike in North Rhine-Westphalia. The route starts at Voerde railway station. It leads past Haus Voerde and then directly to the Rhine. Along its green promenade, you follow the river to the quarry pond and then turn inland, passing Mehrum and then walking between endless fields and the flowing water until shortly before Spellen and back to the starting point. Accessible by bus and train. There are refreshment stops along the route.
