Best moderate trails in Lammersdorf

A beautiful hiking trail around the Kalltalsperre dam. The path is a wide forest road. There are several information boards along the route about the Kalltalsperre reservoir and drinking water supply. As the reservoir is a drinking water reservoir, it is not permitted to walk on the banks. This is a beautiful landscape even in winter weather. The circuit around the reservoir is about 5 kilometres long.

The hike starts in the centre of Lammersdorf at the church. You follow hiking trail no. 12, first leaving the village of Höcker and passing the western wall, walking downhill through mixed forest into the floodplains of the Kall and Kall valley dams. Now the trail continues steadily uphill on the opposite side back to the starting point in Lammersdorf.

The trail leads across the fields along the wind farm next to Jägerhausstraße. You can either start at the car park on the northern edge of the forest or at the access point near the "turning point" near the edge of the village.
