Official hiking trail of the Eifelverein Kerpen in Horrem, North Rhine-Westphalia From Horren railway station, this hiking trail runs anti-clockwise past Hemmersbach Castle, through the Parrig nature reserve to Boisdorfer See. At the southern tip, you can visit the Pope's Hill - from which Pope Benedict XVI preached to the participants of World Youth Day in 2003. The route is easily accessible by train/bus.
