This route starts at the car park in Wilhelm-Münker-Straße, which is located in the north of Hilchenbach near the Hotel am Sonnenhang. The route leads northwards into the forest and forms a relatively small loop. On the way back, it runs parallel to the Langebfelder Bach stream. The route is located within the boundaries of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park.
