Best trail running trails in Geldern

The surrounding forest is no longer being exploited, but re-naturalised. Schloss Walbeck is a hotel where you are guaranteed to spend a few pleasant hours. There is a beer garden and a restaurant that are open to everyone. You can also walk through the woods into the Maasduinen, which are beautifully laid out for nature excursions. This route starts in the town of Walbeck and explores the area north of the town. It leads through fields, farms and forests, so there is a bit of variety. At the northern end of the trail, you pass through the horticultural farm. The route is almost 10 kilometres long and is therefore ideal for running or walking the dog.
