From the Bochumer Str. car park and first through Langeloher Wald. Then through the fields towards Erin Park. From the spoil tip in Erin Park you have a beautiful view over Castrop-Rauxel. Return past orchards towards the car park. A beautiful loop with a good view from the Erin slag heap. Dogs can run free for long stretches. Accessible by bus and train (stop: Langeloh).

From the Langeloh car park, head towards Ölbachtal. The route leads through the Ölbachtal valley along muddy paths in the direction of Bövinghausen. Here you briefly pass through a housing estate before reaching the Wagenbruch nature reserve. The route now leads through fields and pastures back to the car park.
