Beautiful circular tour from Billerbeck via Gut Holtmann (from here it goes through a forest with paved forest paths) via Nottuln (very nice place with many opportunities to rest) back to Billerbeck

The official route of the Vecht Valley Cycle Path runs for 42 kilometres from Darfeld to Wettringen. This section is therefore part of this route, which starts at Billerbeck railway station and leads to Oberdarfeld and the source of the Vecht. The Vecht Valley Cycle Path then continues to Metelen.

Around Billerbeck

Very beautiful - but also partly challenging - route to Münster. At the beginning it goes through many forests with some but manageable climbs - but always on cycle paths. You pass Tilbeck Abbey, which has a very nice café. The route is best ridden in dry weather. At the start in Billerbeck you can park for free at the railway station.

Very beautiful route through the Baumberge mountains via Varlar Castle. Suitable for families and very quiet roads, field and forest paths. Few but manageable climbs. The easiest place to park is in the Aldi car park on Darfelder Strasse.
