Best historic site trails in Mirow

Idyllic hike west of the Großer Labussee lake in the Müritz National Park This beautiful circular trail leads through forests to the west of the Großer Labussee lake and through the villages of Zwenzow and Leussow. The windthrow created in 2014 and a historic wolf trapping facility are among the points of interest along the route.

This trail begins in the village of Granzow. It leads in a southerly direction along Lake Mirow to the castle island in Mirow. Mirow Castle is located there and can be visited. There is also the Mirow Island of Love with a beautiful view of the lake. There are numerous places to stop and rest along the way. A lovely little mix of history and nature.

Beautiful paddling route near Mirow in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern This circuit is ideal for paddle sports or canoeing/kayaking. The paddling circuit starts in Mirow and ends at Lake Müritz. Panoramic hike around the Jamelsee lake This beautiful circular route through the Havel village of Blankenförde leads around Jamelsee, which is connected to the Havel by a ditch. Behind the wooden bridge, the path leads across meadows back to the village, which can be seen from afar by the wooden tower of the church.

Scenic hike in the Müritz National Park This beautiful circular tour leads through the sandy landscape on the southern edge of the Müritz National Park through the villages of Schillersdorf and Qualzow. Inland dunes, the Türzsee lake and the Kienhorst hill are scenic highlights along the circular hike.
