Best river trails in Waldeck

The trail starts in Nieder Werbe. The entrance to the Kellerwald forest is signposted behind the Nieder Werber See lake. There the path goes uphill for a while. From the top, you have a wonderful view of Lake Edersee. There is a lovingly designed mountain hut along the way. Passing slopes with rustic old beech trees and views of the lake, the trail continues over a hilltop and over somewhat steeper slopes back to Nieder Werbe.
