Best wildlife trails in Glashütten

From the Weilsberg car park, the trail first leads to the Kleiner Feldberg. From there, continue via Grüner Weg, Dornsweg and Waldglasweg to the Großer Zacken viewpoint. The Zacken is a rock formation that is a favourite training spot for mountaineers in particular. There are 13 climbing routes there, which correspond to difficulty levels of 3-6 according to the German Alpine Association. Finally, the fourth highest peak in the Taunus, the Weilsberg, is reached.

Popular circular hike in the Taunus Nature Park, Hesse. From the Landsgraben car park, the trail leads over the Eichkopf to the Naturfreundehaus Billtalhöhe. You follow the Rombach stream for a while and then walk back to the starting point via the Viktoriaweg. You should allow about 2.5 hours for this route. Popular quality hiking trail in the Taunus Nature Park, Hesse. The Hochtaunus Limes adventure trail follows the course of the Limes hiking trail and the Limes cycle path and runs from Glashütten to Ober-Mörlen. It runs along the Limes adventure trail through the Hochtaunus region. Along the way, the route will pass the Saalburg, which is the only reconstructed Roman fort on the Limes. There are also several other watchtowers and small forts and, of course, the Limes itself along the way....

A beautiful loop along the eastern section of the Chaffinch Trail. Agriculture has left its mark on the area; nevertheless, you walk through a charming landscape. The route is signposted for the most part and there are information boards providing information about the history of the area. The route is not suitable for bicycles and can be quite muddy in wet weather.
