Best wildflower trails in Treffelstein

The circular trail around the Silbersee can be started at various points. The romantic tour leads along the shore and to a nature observation station where you can watch the lake's wildlife through a hedge. The Schwarzachtal reservoir has long been used for much more than just its original purpose - flood protection.

The starting point of the hiking trail is at the notice board near the Zollhaus inn. From the starting point near the Zollhaus inn, the trail joins the Nurtschweg in the direction of Schwabenberg. Shortly before this, the paths leave each other and the Ts4 runs in the direction of Fürstenhof. Staying on the forest road, you reach Kritzenthal. A little-used tarmac road takes you along the Biberbach stream, which marks the border with the Czech Republic, back to the starting point.
