Best historic site trails in Reichenbach am Regen

This route is the 11th stage of the Goldsteig Southern Route, a long-distance hiking trail in Germany, and runs from Reichenbach to Falkenstein. The trail features moderate climbs through dense forests, passes the Pfaffenstein granite natural monument and continues past the ruins of Lobenstein Castle. Family-friendly circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. This loop can be started at the bus stop at the Regenbrücke bridge or at the car park at the monastery. From here, you walk through a small wooded area and through the open fields to the west of the monastery complex. Around two thirds of the route is on tarmac paths.
