This fantastic tour starts in Mittenwald and leads along the Isar into the secluded and little-known Eppzirler Tal valley with the mountain hut of the same name. There is a fully rideable connection to the Gleirschtal via the Isertalsattel, at the highest point of which is the rustic Oberbrunnalm. A good mix of flowing trails and the Isar cycle path make for a perfect bike tour in beautiful scenery. Rest stops at both mountain pastures.

Varied mountain bike tour from Mittenwald in Bavaria to the Tyrolean Zugspitz region. The MTB route leads from Mittenwald to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and on to the well-known and very idyllic Eibsee lake. From here you already have marvellous views of the Zugspitze. Continue to the Ehrwalder Almbahn valley station, where you can take the cable car up to the mountain station (€9, bikes are free).
