Best moderate trails in Kirchenlamitz

Beautiful circular route in the Fichtelgebirge, Bavaria. A great, not too long hike that always has some nice surprises in store: One highlight of the circular route is the ruins of the former rock castle, whose history dates back to at least the 13th century. There is also the Schönburgwarte on the Großer Kornberg mountain - it is open all year round and freely accessible. There is a great panoramic view from here. Popular hike in the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, Bavaria. This is a beautiful, wooded hike from Rehau station to Kirchenlamitz Ost station. There is a short but not excessively steep ascent between Pilgramsreuth and the forest, through which you walk for around 4.5 kilometres.
