The hiking sign for this relaxed circular hike is a white H3 on a blue background. There are hardly any metres in altitude to overcome and there are refreshment stops with Franconian specialities at Wallesauer Weiher, Waldsee and in Hofstetten. The old fortified church in Hofstetten is also worth a visit.

Beautiful loop in Bavaria, Germany. A really rewarding and relaxing hike for all seasons, passing through pine forests most of the time. It always goes along smaller waters and streams and with a bit of luck you can spot deer. In Hofstätten there is a restaurant where you can stop off.

18th section of the official long-distance cycle route through Germany from the Baltic Sea to Upper Bavaria (D-Route 11) The D-Route D11 (Baltic Sea to Upper Bavaria) runs along the entire route from Rostock to Freilassing in Bavaria. The route generally runs along tarmac roads with little traffic. The long-distance cycle route is partly signposted with the D11 logo (half a wheel and "11" on a red background), but in some places there are only signs for local cycle paths.
