Panoramic circular hiking trail in the Spessart The European Cultural Trail is dedicated to a section of the Lower Bunter Sandstone, which has been quarried in the glassmaking village of Heigenbrücken since the 19th century. This trail travels from Heigenbrücken to Bad Orb through the heart of the Spessart Nature Park. The path follows the historic Eselsweg, an ancient route once used for transporting salt.
