Interesting, certified premium hiking trail in the Donaubergland, Baden-Württemberg. This route leads through the FFH area "Großer Heuberg and Donautal", past the shepherd's well, across the sheep pastures on the "Alter Berg" and to the former sheepfold at Allenspacher Hof. The name of the trail says it all, as shepherding used to be a necessary addition to livestock farming for almost all villages in the Alb.
