Great views! Only half run and then back to the parking lot.

Quite exposed in places but great views on a clear day

A picturesque gentle walk through the town and along the riverside. Most paths are hard & well gravelled, with some grass tracks and light mud.

Great trail not too difficult one steep climb and a couple of moderate climbs The trail starts directly from the carpark. walk 50 yds down the road and take the right fork in the road. stay on this road for approx 1.3 miles. this road is very quiet only passed 1 vehicle. You then need to take a track that's on the left, this takes you around the base of the Twmpa mountain to the backside. You then start to climb, you can see the trail winding its way up. this is the steepest climb of the hike. once you get to top take a left and follow the clear path to the summit. from here on the path is clear, follow it down to the road. Cross the road and start to climb again a more gentle climb this takes you to the summit of Hay Bluff. from here the options yours either continue along the ridge for a longer hike or return to the carpark. make sure its a clear day for excellent views.
