Really enjoyed this walk. Tackled it on a hot day so found it a bit challenging but the views and surroundings are definitely worth it.

We took Pyg up and Miners back. Great route. Can be tricky working out which way to go at times but there were always more experienced hikers to watch and learn from.

Needs good weather to tackle Crib Goch unless you're fully confident in yourself and everyone you're with, but a very exciting challenge.

I live near the moel eilo mountain and other mountains I've walked up moel eilo mountain since I was very young. Nice scenery from top you can see snowdonia mountains mynydd mawr And other Mountains from the top. Plus you can see angelsey. Especially on sunny day. It is also a nice place to relax and unwind. After walking up the steep climb.

Excellent walk, though beware changeable weather, you spend quite some time up on top which can be very boggy and in the clouds. The very steep descent can be hard on the knees.

It was a nice walk along the river. No service area, so better you download the map. The middle bit is very beautiful, with great waterfalls. However the beginning and end are not very exciting, more like a 3 star. This goes along the forest, you can hear the river but not see it. Be careful of mountainbikes as it’s a trail for them. Therefore kept my dog on a lead. Easy paths to walk on. Have fun and enjoy your day

Not a walk for beginners or the faint hearted! Great walk nonetheless with plenty of scrambling with great views of Snowdon and surrounding snowdonia once you reach the top of crib goch. Would err on the side of caution however as it is extremely exposed at the top with a very narrow right tee to walk along - I suggest dropping down a little on the left hand side and walking along there rather than the ridge itself. There are also some paths to rock climb up if you fancy the challenge.

Great day weather wise. Having read other reviews, knew this was going to be a tough one, especially with a 10 year old, albeit quite a fit one. Breezed up to the little lake and to the top of the mountain but that descent following this route was a really tough one with a lot of scrambling. Would do again but would probably just come down the way I went up, despite normally preferring a circular walk.

100% thought we did miners all the way yesterday but reading up on it, we started miners then ended up on Pyg! Fully climbing up the rocks which was great and chuffed we’ve done it especially after reading reviews! Walked back down Llanberis back to the car, fantastic day!

Excellent path, very hard at the start but well worth it once you reach the top.

Well for somebody who isn't that healthy and does a few small hikes here and there can honestly say this was the hardest hike I've ever done. Saying that it was more than worth the long day, sunburn and all the aches afterwards. The views are incredible the people on the trail are lovely from my experience and just something I'm glad I can say I've done. we took regular stops throughout the day as it was boiling and pretty difficult in spots. The very early part of the hike is very steep but flattens out not long after but the last couple of km are the hardest by far it is where I noticed most poeple struggling but well worth the grind if you can make it! I certainly would love to do it again but next time would want to make sure I'm fitter :)

Compared to the Rhinog Fawr hike, it was very easy. It’s a nice lake. However most of the walk is on a road. It will be nicer to do on a bike. I like it better in nature paths, therefore 3 star. Maybe if you have children it is a better walk. Good luck

Loved it. Challenging and great fun. What a buzz. The views are incredible! Took me bang on 6 hours. Although I came down the Garn to Llyn Idwal and straight onto the road.
