Crib Goch was scary .... I was told people exaggerate it but it depends on a variety of factors and although I’m glad I did it there was a part that was terrifying. Consider it carefully would be my advice

i would recommend this trail if you have good physical condition with strong knees as on its half way, lots of climbing off trail to meet up pyg trail people. I rated as this track with the most stunning view while going up to Summit. i picked up Llanberries going down, the view was less exciting than Miners track. Strongly recommend to going up by this track.

I did this with Mind Charity walking through the night and arriving at the summit for sunrise and it was an incredible experience! Tricky in parts especially when you get to the ascent on slate! The start is quite steep concrete - persevere and the views after will make up for it!

Fantastic walk with the most amazing scenery. Very busy on a bank holiday weekend, however still well worth it.

Great views. For novice walkers I'd recommend walking up the pyg and down the miners. Interesting climb to start, then it levels for a pretty walk with views of the lakes, then joins the miners and goes up to the zigzags. Bit scrabbly in places but nothing challenging. Beware the people who've just jumped off the train. We found the route suddenly swamped several times with sightseers.

Busy but good

A good day out but definitely not moderate, one of the hardest routes I've done. Views ok but not the best. About seven hours from start to finish. Not very busy for Sunday. Would I do it again? Yes but would allow more time as it's long.

It can get busy. Recommend going early or later so you don't get held up behind people.

Not to hard but by no account is it easy. You get some amazing views along the way. Would definitely recommend this route.

Great views in a good weather.

Beautiful landscape, not the easiest track but worthy. Windy and cold at the top.

Excellent

Great walk. Definitely quieter than other routes. It was certainly steep on Rhyd Ddu on the way up but nothing that someone moderately fit couldn't handle. The climb to the summit is a bit narrow, we got stuck behind a slow group. The wind was pretty biting towards the top. On the way down be careful not to follow the Ranger path all the way, look out for the ladder over the fence to the left and before the gate which is the way down the Ranger path. We went the wrong way because GPS didn't update on the app and we added an extra 2 miles to our walk to get back to the car park.

Reeally good hike but hard though. The last steep section is very impressive. I wouldn't recommend taking dogs or kids as it can be dangerous.

Steady walk to the summit . A couple of steep areas . Very cold at the top and very busy .

Great walk, on a bank holiday Friday it was pretty quiet (which is rare) 3 ridges with amazing views. Can’t fault it. Plus it starts and ends in a town so many pubs lol

Fantastic. Scary at the top... Not for the faint hearted. Beautiful views all the way.

Hard slog but worth it. The views are amazing

As others have said gets difficult 3/4 of the way up and with heavy wind it was difficult going but noticed lots of people walking down the train track (top section only) and we also did the same it made coming down and it made the walk down easier.
