Epic views great swimming in the big lake. Will visit again.

Fantastic views. Exposed in extreme weather. Very hot today. Please can you correct the name of the walk. It should be Llyn.

An absolutely beautiful walk in the Dan-yr-Ogof area (excellent caves) that rewards with beautiful views and a high level lake that features in The Mabinogion and fantastic views. Beautiful in the warmer months but can be treacherous if caught up in blizzard conditions with winds that can easily take you off the top of the ridge so be especially prepared if you venture up in the colder months as it can very easily and relatively quicky turn bad weather-wise.

there is also a great 5mile walk from the castle, well sign posted can be quite muddy in places. also you only pay too enter the castle, not if you just walk past!

not a bad walk, quite strenuous in places so you do need a good level of fitness. If the tide is out you could make it easier by walking on the beach some of the way.

great walk breathtaking views Easter Friday weather was great

Its not easy, but its worth it! stunning views wherever you look.

Short walk up to Llyn y fan fair and back starting from the old road from abercrave to trecastle

excellent walk. can be a bit overgrown at times but well worth it. enjoy the hill out of Pendine.

Cool trail! Awesome castle - do not forget to take a look into cave! OUTSTANDING views over Black Mountain part of BB and Carmarthenshire. Everything would be just perfect besides one not nice experience which I had with the owners of the farm and cafe just below Castle who manage the entrance - Castle is on official list of Dark Skies Stargazing sites but there is NOT ALLOWED to get to property afterdark. I was really rude treated when try to get there (without knowledge that is not permitted). Be aware!

Absolutely breathtaking views.. very windy up top and snowed on the way back down.. so picturesque I would recommend it highly

nice castle, I didn't know you had to pay tho, pretty expensive but fun.

Poor visibility due to weather conditions in Feb but great trail, testing in parts but very rewarding

Very scenic trail, had a lovely day. If you want to finish the whole trail make sure leave yourself plenty of daylight. Most of the path is dry and solid but there are some bits that are a little wet. You can still see snow at the side of the mountains, no snow on the paths.

Fantastic hike up a relatively steep incline to two beautiful lakes. So glad that I found found this place! God's country at it's best.

Lovely place. Have to pay to get into Castle though. We paid £16 for a family of four but we we enjoyed it. Lovely walks around the area too and if you fancy it, a lovely restaurant near the castle.
