I did this hike last summer for our family reunion. I had all my little ones with me and they had a hard time lucky I had people there to help my kids up the trail. the falls are so beautiful. great views. definitely going back when the kids are a little older.

Beautiful hike. My husband and I completed last June and there was still snow on the trails.

I have completed this hike on multiple occasions, one of the best spots in the park to see Old Faithful erupt.
If you have the chance do the hike at night, the eruption is magical. Make sure to bring bear spray, and a good light!

A great hike for families with children

I loved this trail. Awesome day hike. Went all the way up the canyon out & back. Hidden falls is also great. Saw moose and bear. Some of the most beautiful views of any hiking you could hope for!

If you like great photo ops with old trees, cliffs, birds, and lots of water you will LOVE this trail. Beautiful hike with minimal human activity and perfect for dog walking on a leash, our mini Aussie loved it as well.

Relatively easy hike to Beautiful lake. Had it all to myself this morning.

Breathtaking. The best hike of my life.

Really nice to just wander around in awe of devils tower. More a a stroll than a hike with beautiful views of the prairie as well.

Only did first 4 miles but loved it!

Beautiful scenery- great hike. I didn’t remember it being this long.

Beautiful but very crowded!

If you are going to make this much effort go to Table Rock. This is just as hard without the view of the Tetons at the end.

It’s is as advertised limited and to a fenced off view of a rare find. Not much else

It is an ok hike dense forest limited views it was secluded ok , Very flat. St least it seemed that way

This was such a fun little hike! My grandpa and I only saw maybe 4 people and the fall at the end was so pretty! Bring bug spray and sunscreen though

It was so fun and pretty. Had an awesome time and definitely recommend

Snow shoed the trail this morning. Beautiful scenery. Came across fresh mountain lion tracks at the halfway point near the radio towers and increased our speed to the finish. Gets the heart rate going.

Great sight and if right on time gets you to peak in a fair amount of time

The sights make this a 5 Star. The path is very easy crowded typically and I doesn’t take too much effort normally is not rate as a 5 Star due to those limits but the thermo sights are special

Pretty but gets crowded

Did both north and south rim. Did this after hike on Mt washborn in the morning and was a fantastic day moderate rating may be fair but also
Points a bit to the easier side in spots. Fun and most anyone can enjoy this

It takes effort and determination. But is certainly worth it. Do not try if you haven’t trained. But if you are in moderate condition take your time and go for it. Amazing

Nice trail diverse in forest, meadow, shoreline. Heard bears were in area so bring your spray and use common sense. Be prepared to scramble over fallen trees possible. Lots of fun and quick hike

Love this trail! Did it last summer with my father as a bonding trip. We ended up running into a bull moose right before misty moon lake. And the next morning we woke up to a moose swimming! The views are wonderful along with the other people if you happen to run into any. :)

Love think hole! Mostly up hill but a wonderful view!

What a beautiful area! The abundance of trails and relatively gentle grade of the area made it easy to create a larger loop of our own (we ended up at ~8.5 miles), though many of the trails were muddy and the lingering snow patches meant that we twice lost the trail and bushwhacked until we ran into another one. The campground gate is closed for the season, so there are no entry fees to be paid but you will need to walk down the park road for about a half mile to get to the trailhead. Oh, and we saw a moose, which was icing on the already delicious cake!

In late March it was still quite muddy with patches of snow, but 75% clear. Beautiful views in all directions, not least of all the ever-changing facade of “Bear’s Tipi”. The Belle Fourche river is gorgeous as it cuts through the Spearfish deposits of red sandstone.
