Nice hike that took us about 4 1/2 hours to do. Lots of animal tracks all along the trail. Multiple bear scat and had a moose on the trail. It has great views of the Tetons at the halfway point. Make sure you hike with others on this one due to the amount of bear and moose activity on the trail.

It is an ok hike dense forest limited views it was secluded ok , Very flat. St least it seemed that way

Easy hike with kids and great scenery everywhere. Loved this spot.

An easy, mostly flat hike around the lake. It's beautiful and perfect when you want a mellow, but longer walk.

This is really a beautiful hike if the sun is setting. We saw a frog while walking and were immersed in trees. Dirt path for most of it while on the island.

Did this hike to hurricane pass in one day. It took us about 9.5 hours to complete and we were able to catch the shuttle boat both ways and we started at about 7:30 or 8 am. The hike ended up being a little over 20 miles. This trail was very strenuous but worth all of the struggle. The view of the back of the tetons was breathtaking. Saw three moose in Cascade canyon on the way back. There is so much life and an abundance of water on this trail! Amazing hike!!! I will try to top the view for the rest of my life and probably fail. I hope to do it again but maybe make it an overnight next time lol.

Decent walk for beginners by the Lakeshore.

Gorgeous! We were tired from paddling in the morning but I'm so glad we did this. It only took 1.5 hours with several stops for swimming and resting. Amazing Teton Views! No bears for us today.

Excellent for a trail run, soft forest floor, a few ups but mostly flattish... no bugs for us but it was 63 degrees. Also- it is 7 miles acc to all my devices.

Easy walk. We had a grizzly cross in front of our path this afternoon!!

Trail doesn't lead to anything view or interest. Just a walk in the woods.

Excellent anti clockwise loop. Wild flowers still stunning. Flat for most of the trip.

Family hiked this trail with the ranger led group which starts at 1:00 pm. The hike was 3 miles long and lasted 3 hours - not sure why AllTrails says it's 8 miles even the trail map matches. It was very nice and easy. We saw a pair of trumpeter swans and a beaver den. A great view of the mountains across the lake.

A bear crossed in front of us on the path so we didn't finish the loop completely but what we did see was beautiful!

The meadows full of wildflowers were beautiful. There is a small off shoot trail that is about two miles out and back to a look out. It's steep in spots but definitely doable. If you don't go to the lookout this is a fairly flat trail but even with it I wouldn't rate this trail as hard. Moderate at best.

Took this trail on July 11, and the wildflowers were spectacular. Don't think I'd take it any other time of the year. Wear long pants cause the trail's overgrown in places. Also, take plenty of bug spray!

Beautiful views along the North rim. Be sure to travel with the lake on your left for stunning views of the Tetons with wild flowers littering the trail. Woodsy areas are very buggy, definitely bring bug spray. Great experience, highly recommend! We started at the trailhead off Wilderness Access Road and forgot to turn the tracker off when we drove out which is why the end point goes beyond the start point.

My rating is biased based on the fact we were attached by a MASSIVE swarm of mosquitos towards the end. Seriously- no amount of bug spray could have saved us. We ended up running the last mile and a half in fear for our lives.
Otherwise lovely trail with unique view of Tetons :)

Gorgeous views but much of the tail is underwater and it's a bit confusing if you want to walk the perimeter. Would recommend going to the hidden falls or just wandering around

Decided to do this trail including the North and South side of the lake. Not a great hike for views of what appears to be a beautiful lake. We came in from the Pacific Creek Road marker and started with the North side of the lake. Overall this had better views but those were limited. After about 6 miles and now on the South Trail we had lunch at the overlook. Nice views.

South Trail in my opinion was a total waste. Only 1 spot to take pictures of the lake. The rest was a hike in heavily wooded area.

The area is heavy with mosquito's so check with the locals as to the time they are in.

Positive: The trail is fairly easy to navigate and the park service is doing a great job on tree removal. Moderate is a fair rating for the trail as far as elevation change and length.

If there were more views and access to the lake it would be a great day hike.

Just wow!!!!!!

Great views. Flat trail without elevation.

Great easy trail. Gives plenty of reflections of the Tetons. Still a few snow banks on the trail but still worth the walk.

Easy hike with nice views but the second loop is really poorly maintained.

scenic driving

I've done this drive a couple times and it is everything you would expect it to be. Views out over the lakes, the mountains, doesn't get much better than this. I arrived early one morning on one trip, and the water on the lakes was like glass. Great reflection shots. Highly recommended scenic drive!!
