absolutely loved this trail. there is some camping at the base but it looks like it's very primitive.
be sure to bring your own toilet paper! the toilet is honestly very gross... but the hike itself is amazing and well kept. bring your own water and a good pair of hiking shoes.

Finished this hike at the end of July. We did the loop with a night at Big Sandy and the second night at Dads lake.

The Cirque is a great spot, but stopping there is a mistake. Views from Texas Pass are amazing and a great sense of accomplishment accompanied summiting. Shadow Lake and Dads lake are also gems that would be missed if not doing the loop.

In the 25+ miles trail navigation difficulty was only an issue at Lonesome Lake/Texas Pass area as cairns seem to be all over. However, this was also a highlight for my wife who loved scrambling through boulders. You will work hard to get to top, just to look down and see that you arr heading straight down. BUT it’s well worth it.

This hike offers streams, lakes, peaks, forests, wild flowers everywhere. Only thing we missed out on seeing was wildlife.

This is an amazing hike.

**As for mosquitos, I only had a problem when I didn’t spray. When I sprayed they seemed to leave me alone. I was annoyed by them but only had a few bites.

Hiked this as a child. It's Old Faithful. The American faithful need to make a pilgrimage there at some point in life. AllTrails doesn't make entering an activity date in the past easy!

Gorgeous trail coming up through the canyon. I don’t know that I’d qualify it as “easy” as it’s mostly uphill and there are some steep sections. Not sure why it says it’s only three miles as this trail goes almost all the way to Burgess Junction. We just went to the first creek crossing, had lunch, and came back. Great views!

I thought is was a great trail to go snowshoeing for the first time. pretty easy and nice view of lake and mountains. however there wasn't really a trail so we just followed other people's tracks. the tracks eventually turned around at swan lake instead of continue the loop so we didnt get the whole experience. but also saw plenty of wolf tracks and some wolves in the raod to the trailhead so be wary.

Great exercise trail, beautiful scenery.

Big sandy lake is a nice piece of a much more beautiful puzzle. This was the first few miles of our Cirque Loop and it is a wonderful spot. However, the next 10+ miles on that trail take you to some astonishing views.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

Right at the south entrance. Little bit of a scramble down, but a beautiful waterfall

Awesome dog-friendly trail. Nice easy up and down loop with much to see. Trail is snowshoe-friendly and kid-friendly too. I have a 5, 6, and 8 year old and they did great. The nice thing is that there are a lot of options to go off this trail and follow other trails too. We would and probably will do it again!

It was amazing you hike up the mountain to a giant lake that had jaw dropping scenery, and the water felt great.

The water was so warm and it felt so good the place is awsome.

I give it a 4 for imperial geyser. If you only go to the falls it’s a 3.

The initial switchbacks can be a bit steep, but this is one of my favorite trails. Always hike prepared, there are mountain lions in the area.

Took this trail 30 years ago. Beautiful trail but in July you get pretty hot. I am 70 now and could not do it at this point in life. But I encourage you to try it if you are physically fit.

The views! Oh my god the views! Scenic the entire time. We parked at Moose and rode into the park to Jenny Lake and back. Into Jenny lake is slight incline with a big hill just past the park entrance. We were flying on the way back!

Beautiful hike!!! We took the boat across Jenny Lake to cut off some miles. We only hiked to the forks as this was our last of many hikes for the week. Done is late August. Highly recommend.

This is a great hike!!! We hiked this is early September. It’s an up hill climb all the way. Don’t be fooled by some descriptions that say “a few switchbacks”, we counted 19. Lots of people on the trail and at the lakes. It’s beautiful up there!!! Highly recommend!!!

Loved this hike!!! We did this hike in late August (absolutely no bugs). It’s long but worth every single step. Plan for water crossings. Also, I think the trail is longer than 15 miles. Our GPS had us well over 19 miles. We highly recommend this hike.
