Beautiful trail! Snowy the whole way. Definitely longer than 3.2 thought! I recorded 4.4 miles.

Trail is obviously visible but there are a lot of social trails that confuse even the most seasoned hiker. Trail maps could be more clear of this trail being separate from the other trail (bridle loop). Handout maps could help but I understand they could get vandalized/messed with. Even separate color squares of the small loop vs. big loop with arrows pointing to specific turns on the trail could help. Overall beautiful hike, ultimately everything is a loop so you end up somewhere!

Absolutely gorgeous!!!

I took my dog and we had a great time . People and animals were all friendly . Will be doing it alot I believe.

To the falls it’s a very short hike. I truly didn’t do the full loop as there were steep areas and on the larger section of the split rock hike there’s scrambling and 13% grades. Didn’t want to attempt all that with dogs. The falls however are very easy to get to and not a hard walk at all.

Dog park walk is part of a bigger path not fenced in next to a road. Nice walking and easy. Today they were doing maintenance. Port a potty on sight. 3 stars for no fenced in areas for off leash. My dogs love to explore and use to mountain running.

great trail for hiking with friends and seeing the Casper area. Passed a good amount of people on the trail but not too crowded.

Nice and easily with different trail spurs that can be explored. Shady, easy parking access. Some nice views and landscape variety.

My hometown, so of course I love it. expect steep climbs, but plenty of resting places. There's a picnic table directly on top of the falls. Peaceful and serene.

some spots where the trail could be better marked buy overall a nice hike/run. sad to see so many worn paths where people have gone off trail.

Amazing!

added upper loop to bridle split rock loop. adds 300 ft elevation gain and. a stunning overlook.

Area was a touch crowded, as everyone was vying for their selfie with the waterfall and didn’t really care if they stepped in your way or not. The trail is definitely a workout on the glutes and hamstrings as there is lots of steady climbing involved however there are adequate rest stops along the way. The flowers & foliage are a sight to be seen in and of themselves. However, that waterfall...she is a looker and work every leg cramp along the way. I would say this was a moderate-level crowd of people. Many were on their merry way to hike, many others were selfie enthusiasts. I didn’t find myself alone At all on this trail, there was always someone within earshot.

Great variety of environments. Well signed and maintained. Beautiful views. Well trafficked.

Fantastic hike as always! MK & I had a late start so we hiked up to Split Rock and turned around and came back the same way we went up. Started at 5:30pm, returned to car at 8:45pm.

This was just the trail we wanted for a morning hike before hitting the road. I would say it is “easy” for length but moderate for effort for those people with knee problems or looking for a flat, easy hike. As other reviewers said, it isn’t well marked and there is at least one other trail that intersects and forks from it. Also I am glad we had our poles for the downhill at the end. If you start at the parking lot, it is a long gradual uphill. We started across the footbridge, took the first left to see the waterfall then backtracked to the loop trail. I am glad I downloaded the map but even using it, I got off trail once or twice. Overall we loved it. In August it is hot. Bring water!

Short but more challenging than “easy”. But just what we needed this morning and good views

Mostly easy hike, close to town. In places, the trail is is adjacent to roads, which lessens the "getting away" atmosphere. Signage is clunky.

Parking and bathrooms available at Rotary Park base. A beautiful and well-marked neighborhood climb. One of our favorites! Great views and forest hiking.

Not well marked, but a very nicely paved trail for riding bikes. Loved the Tate Pumphouse stop for bathrooms.

If you want to just hike to the bottom of the waterfall it takes about 5 minutes. the whole loop is a nice hike. However, there are lots of switchbacks going to the top of the falls, so be prepared.

Fantastic hike....definitely recommend I went clockwise around the trail and I think this may have been the more difficult route The first 0.3 miles are pretty damn tough.....at least for me anyway. If u power they that, ur good to go.....and the views await shortly after that. Loved it!

Nice, easy to follow trail. More on the easy side of moderate for the most part. Pretty wild flowers and some lovely boulders along the way. Lots of shade with spots of sun.

Easy trail to a small water fall. Nice places to sit along the creek to soak your feet or let you kids or dogs get their feet wet. A couple of benches along the way. Mostly uphill.

A jewel of Casper!

Beautiful, truly moderate trail with spectacular views. Waterfall at the bottom near the parking lot.
