Really well marked in terms of paths and holiness. Also the trail itself was pretty empty, with no one at the state park station in the trailhead parking lot (COVID!) so we ended up calling the phone number on the office window to buy an annual trail pass. All in all a really great trail!!

on a hot June day, I should have expected the bugs. the first three miles of the trail is dense and narrowish. I'm going to try doing this from the kettle morrain side next weekend.

Great WI trail. Nicely marked path with multiple trail and loop options. Nicely secluded, very few roads nearby, and great elevation for the midwest. The blue loop is great midwest training for a more serious mountain.

Decent out and back trail. Will definitely be back. I'd say that moderate is a better description of the difficulty level.

Great trail for hiking in times of COVID-19. The trail was not too heavily trafficked, most people go around in one direction (I only crossed 3 groups), and the trail is wide in most parts so you can hop off trail to let others pass by 6 feet away. The scenery was really pretty! No lakes or anything like that though. There were some relatively steep hills at times, but nothing too crazy. I would recommend this trail.

Great trail with plenty of incline hiking. Bring bug spray. I would rate it easy-moderate.

One of my favorite Ice Age trails in Kettle Moraine. Several sections with steep inclines, some with stairs, that will get your heart going. Other section that are flat and relaxing. Out and back for ~ 9.6 miles.

Such a great trail! Definitely one of my favorites; perfect for training, dog friendly, not very congested, and lots of different scenery. Absolutely loved it.

very nice trails. we spent 3 hours hiking..little did we know tho the other trail we took after we went around the lake was not leading us back to our vehicle. we went quite aways then turned back around. it was a beautiful day tho.

Great easy-to-moderate trail with beautiful forest views. More primitive as opposed to a wide, clear path- which I prefer.

This was a great trail to hit for the first nice day of spring. Challenging at times but overall a favorite Of mine since exploring Wisconsin!

Nice trail. Not overly scenic but a few different landscapes. No mud today. Hilly towards the 6-7 mile marks.

A point to point hike in the rolling and often steep hardwood covered hills on the Whitewater segment of the Ice Age Trail. The trail will wind through protected hardwoods and a few small pine plantations. But will get your heart pumping on some short moderately challenging hills.

Great trail for a training hike! Well groomed and scenic enough to keep me interested for it’s entirety. Hiked it alone. Plenty of places to rest if needed.

Great late November trek. Other hikers along blue loop. Passed 3 deer hunters adjacent to trail. Blaze orange recommended for hikers during Wisconsin deer gun season!

Beautiful trail. A bit noisy at the beginning because of highway 12 but as you hike longer the noise goes away.

I thought the trail was nice at first and then I stumbled twice across two trails that are closed and instead of going way out of my way I had to go through brush
